Report Child Pornography

Okay, listen up! This subject is so important that it bears repeating and stressing. There are scum everywhere, and in particular there is a horrible brand of scum sucking lowlifes who create, distribute or view child pornography on the internet. You'll see it posted in newsgroups, you'll get some in your email, you'll find it in chat rooms and you'll run across sites on the internet. It's everywhere.

Yeah, I know all about freedom of speech and all that, but this is our children we're talking about. Our sons and daughters are at risk and we must do something about it.

What can you do?

Well, before we go onward, here is some important data about child pornography which you must understand. This is taken directly from a child safety website and it is very important that you thoroughly understand it.

"IMPORTANT NOTE: Downloading or making a copy of child pornography for any reason - even to provide it as evidence to law enforcement - is a crime in the United States. If you run across what you believe to be child pornography, you should record the URL (Web address) and report only that to law enforcement."

If you find child pornography on the internet, visit the sites shown in "resources" below and they will tell you exactly what to do.

The main thing to remember is that you do not need to put up with this kind of thing. It is not okay and it should be treated that way.

People who deal in child pornography are criminals, pure and simple. It does not matter how much they protest or how cleverly they hide behind the first amendment. They are scum, lowlife, criminals and they must be treated as such.

Don't respond to them. Don't download their garbage. Don't spread it around.

DO use the resources below to report this scum to the authorities. You can also use SpamCop.Net to report this scum to their ISP and get their internet accounts canceled.

You can call 1-800-843-5678. Be sure to specify you are reporting a child pornography website.
